We’re excited that it’s finally time to share the long awaited update to our admin dashboard. Our new admin dashboard (still in beta), is a big upgrade. We’ve greatly expanded what admins can manage for their own schools and districts, to reduce friction (and time).
Here are 5 of the biggest highlights:
1. Add/Remove Teachers
You now have full control over your teachers. You can add new ones, remove teachers who are no longer part of your school (or using Shoelace), and assign them to classes.

2. Add/Remove Students
See all the students who are part of your school(s), what classes they are part of, and add/remove students. Monitor your enrolment numbers and be notified when you exceed your paid limit.

3. Create / Archive Classes
View all the classes in your school(s). Update the enrolment (both teacher(s) and students), the name and archive. Access the login pdf for each class.

4. View the player activity, skills and reading reports
You can access our three main reports (player activity, skills and reading) for all classes, including the ability to adjust the time period. The player activity report is the fastest (and easiest) way to monitor usage. More reports will be coming in future updates.

5. View Multiple Schools.
Are you a district admin and have multiple schools using Shoelace? Now you can view all your schools (and teachers, classes and students) from one simple dashboard.

Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be continuing to expand the offerings on the admin dashboard. We’re building it not just with admins in mind, but with admins shaping the design of it so that it meets your needs.
